Our History
On Sunday, March 8, 1987, we held our first service. The service was held in the Glenmoore fire-hall. God had supernaturally open the door for us to use the fire-hall. The normal rent for the hall was one hundred dollars per usage, but by God’s power & grace we were allowed to use it for one hundred dollars per month!!

Looking back over the years we can truly say that God moved in very powerful ways in those early services. We used to say we were a church that met in a fire-hall where God’s fire was falling!! After 5 years God moved us on to another fire hall in Downingtown, we were there for about 3 months, when God again moved supernaturally & provided a building for us located at 141 East Lancaster Avenue. We were given the entire upstairs of this building.

The normal cost for rent of this building was about 1,800 dollars per month. God gave us the building for 400 dollars per month!! We were at this location for about 7 years. During this period of time we were able to renovate & expand our sanctuary two times, this enabled us to double our seeing capacity.

But God wasn’t finished with providing for us in a supernatural way!! At the end of this 7 year period God gave us a first floor building just a few doors down from our 141 E. Lancaster location. This location more then tripled the size of our sanctuary & gave us a highly visible location on route 30. This faculty was provided to our church at no cost!!

We used this building for about 1 year. It was during this time when God began to speak to Pastor Keith Brooks about speaking to me. Pastor Brooks approached me about bringing our congregation to his church located at 1295 Marshallton-Thorndale Road. After much prayer the Lord began giving both of us confirmations that indeed this was His plan for both of our lives.

So in August of 2000 we were joined together. This history is given as a testimony to the faithfulness of God!! We look to the future with great expectation for that entire God has planned for our congregation!
